SARDINES, BEEF TRIPE AND MILL WORMS

I thought this week I would give you several different recipes for sardines, Beef tripe and Mill Worms. Since these are Recipes you don't usually have lying around and I am sure you have been wanting to try. We will start with Beef Tripe ( cow stomach lining for those of you who don't know) (Yummy!!!!) This is a geat Recipe that comes from Itly.

1 Large Onion sliced
1/3 C. Chopped Parsley
3 lbs. Tripe
1 80z can tomatoe sauce
4 T. Butter
1 C. Water
4 T. Olive Oil

parboil tripe for 1 hour. when cool cut into 1" x 3" strips. saute onions in oil and butter. then add the rest of the ingredients simmer 1 1/2 to 2/hours until tender. Add a bit more water at the end to make more sauce to soak up with good Crusty Bread. Serve Hot with grated cheese on the side. Don't forget the Crusty Bread.

My mouth is watering right now! ( not beacuse I am Hungry, Cause I am going to throw up!)

Tonight for young mens they are having a fear factor compitition. They have to eat Sardines. Raw eggs, Boiled tripe and Mill worms. Yuck! Crome Dome boiled the Tripe before they left. after reading all the recipes for tripe I don't think that he cooked it long enough. All the Recipes have you cook it for more than an hour. I think he only cooked ot for 20 minutes. ( I sure hope no one gets sick.) Owell at least I don't have to eat it.

This weeks Recipe will make the Heavens Sing or at least make me sing

Chrome Dome? kheehee! That was very kind of him to cook it a bit. I would have fed it to the kids raw:) But I'm kind of cruel like that!

I'm thinking I need to cook up this cake though! Do you think 10 p.m. is too late to start dessert? Ok, I'll wait.

I would never ever be in a fear factor that Chromie had anything to do with. OOOOO YUK....where did he come up with the tripe thing? That cake would cost about $20.00 to make here. I think I'll wait until I am home and everyone is away for the week-end. Wouldn't want it to spoil....have to eat it myself!! MUM
