Look what I can do!

OKAY! OKAY! So it's 2009 and I'm just getting around to writing my first post of the year. I made a New Years resolution that I was going to learn how to change my background, upload my pictures from my camera and cut and paste to my blog. So far I can only change my background if I use the ones that are offered by blog spot. I guess that's a start. How Did I become so computer retarded? Maybe If I spent more time on it I could master some of these areas. I am pretty good at looking up People on Utah county online and I have gotten really good at FREE CELL ( however Big G said I ruined his perfect score.) Maybe I will have to go back to Bejeweled. Some day I will figure all this out or some one will feel sorry for me and take pity on me and teach me how to do these things. I am sure my blogs would be more interesting with pictures to look at. OWELL maybe someday!!

I thought I would post something to keep you constantly wondering if I will EVER POST AGAIN! SO, you will keep checking my blog every day in hopes that I have updated it. Only to get disappointed because each day it is still the same. (SS DD) ( as Gary use to say : Same Sh#@ different day). That is my life in a nut shell! O wait some days are different ! I actually take pictures of those days . I could post them and make my blog more interesting! Unfortunately I don't know how to upload pictures or copy and paste etc. So I guess for now you have to settle for the occasional blogging. with no pictures and a bunch of words. BLAH BLOG BLAH BLAH BLOG. THANKS FOR STOPPIN IN!!!!!!!!! p.s how do I change my wall paper ?

Just thought I would stop in for a minute and give you this fabulous salad recipe. I know you have all been missing me and saying to your selves " when is she going to post?" "Is she EVER going to write on her blog?" Don't get to excited about me posting and thinking this is going to become a daily habit. cause it's not. My life is way to busy to be keeping you updated on my life, by writing on my blog everyday. I will tell you it has to do with playdough, sidewalk chalk. kiddy swimming pools. otterpops. and nightly walks through the cemetary. Tooooo busy to blog. Any way, I got this GREAT recipe at the grocery store on Saturday from the nice taste tester lady . I know why my BMI is in excess for my height (part 1)

A few years ago ( maybe it has been more than a few years) I called my O.B.G. to schedule my yearly appointment. the problem was I had not scheduled a yearly appointment for about 7 years. ( woohoo, 7 years without a pap!!! ). Since I had not been seen for 7 years, the receptionist kindly told me that my records had been booted out of the computer and I would have to sign up as a new patient. I said sign me up and she explained to me that he was no longer taking new patients. She apologised for the inconvenience and told me to have a nice day. HAVE A NICE DAY? WHAT? your telling me that the Doctor who has seen my private parts and delivered all of my children has so rudely erased my records from his computer. what am I suppose to do? After hours of crying , swearing and calling him bad names (jk) I was given the name of A new Doctor that had just moved into town and should be fairly easy to get into. Since I had put off having this exam for 7 years I was feeling a little urgency to have it done. So I called up Dr. Dorks office ( not his real name but should be.) and made an appointment. It was a nice office, very inviting with several lovely ladies hustling around helping patients. hmm, I think I am going to like it here. A nice nurse called my name and I followed her back to the exam room with a quick stop at the scales. If you are like me, I will do anything to get out of standing on the scales. The scales are wrong anyway, I weigh much less on my drivers license. The nurse wasn't believing any of my reasons why I could not be weighed, so I stripped down as much as I could and got on the scales with my eyes closed, ( I didn't want to know how much I really weighed) but I couldn't stand the suspense of not knowing so I opened one eye. Hey, I don't weigh as much as I think I do, maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after all. I followed the nurse back to the exam room and waited for the Doctor. Dr. Dork came in introduced himself, proceeded with the exam,, asked me to get dressed and meet him in his office to discuss the results. I got dressed quickly and headed for his office. when I arrived there he was already sitting behind his desk, admiring himself in the glass in the window behind me and running his fingers through his hair. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A CLUE. He asked me to have a seat and started to explain to me about different body types and shapes. He even drew a diagram for me. His sketching was of an apple. that was my body type, when you are only 5'1" there are not many body types you can be. He began informing me about the dangers of being an apple. You are more prone to have high blood pressure, heart disease, etc..and explained to me that my body mass was in excess for my height. He then asked me if I would like him to contact the hospital nutritionist for me. HOW RUDE!!!!!!! I came for a pap, not to be told that I was fat! I politely told him that I would think about it and give him a call. I gathered up my things and headed out of his office . when I noticed that the lovely ladies behind the desk. their body mass was in excess for their height. DID HE HOOK THEM UP WITH THE NUTRITIONIST? needless to say I never went back to Dr. Dork again.

BoneYard Daddies !!!!!

The Boneyard Daddies will be playing a show on Thursday night at Ozz Pool Hall in Provo on 5th north and Freedom Blvd. at 7:00. (5.00 bones at the door). Introducing their new drummer, Stick Boy Stewart who is replacing his brother Dirty Harold, aka: Crazy Cat, Honkey The Hooligan, ect. Stick Boy has been practicing real hard and is pretty nervous. The Boneyard Daddies sound a lot like The Stray Cats an 80’s sound with a bass( upright) not electric and an amazing lead guitar and a high hat, snare, and bass. (I keep telling them they need more cow bell, but they don’t think I am funny.) Their Début with the new drummer was at Muse Music on Saturday night and it reminded me a lot of the movie, I married an axe murder, minus the trumpet. It is a lot of fun so if you can come. Be there or Be square.

Rest, Relaxation & Restaurants

I have been getting crap from someome who shall not be named ( frister Jenny) for not posting anything last week. I was on a well needed vacation. Actually, I went on vaca thursday, to the fabulous Smiley Resort in sunny St. George. Nothing but rest and relaxation. ( and eating, shopping, crafting, laughing and more eating.) We ate so much that when it was time for the next meal no one was hungry. We just ate for the sake of eating. Heaven's you wouldn't want to miss a meal even if you weren't hungry. We ate so much that a few people actually got ill and had to throw up before they could eat again. ( I"m Sure they are bulimic or maybe just old and have acid reflux). But that did'nt stop them, they never missed a meal, How could you when we ate a places like: Texas Road House. mmmmmm the warm roll with cinnamon butter. my mouth is watering just thinking about them. In and Out burger,'s homemade french Fries, and Olive Gardens, bread stick and chicken alfredo. We tried a Great New Place called the Bear Paw that served the best breakfast's . we ate there 2 days in a row. Homemade Pancakes that had cornmeal in them. Yummy!!! Any way on the conversation of food This Is the Recipe for this week.
